Conserve Lake County is 20!
Thankful for Nature and All of You
On April 22, many of you joined us at our Annual Meeting to celebrate 20 years of service to Lake County. We recognized our founders. We asked you, our members to volunteer to keep a good thing going. We shared our nature moments and captured some on murals. We listened to Frances Ming Kuo as she confirmed wilderness is important for people, especially nearby wilderness. We listened to a nature moment and celebrated the past in this video tribute.
As Betsy Dietel, our first executive director said, "Keep fighting the good fight. And once in a while enjoy the fruits of your labor. Take a walk at dawn in Oak Openings, let the coyotes serenade you and come into the peace of the wild things."
